These general furnace crucibles are made out of an economy grade graphite for melting on a budget; slightly more affordable in price, however, they will need to be replaced more frequently due to their coarse material. Ideal for someone who is only looking to melt several batches of material at a time. *Machined crucibles are not to be used in open fire forges or propane forges as they break down to quickly in this type of environment. Please note that this is a budget crucible. This crucible is made from coarse graphite material - only good for a few melts. We also offer higher-grade crucibles.
