The three-function switch keeps paper moving and the motor from overheating. With 4.1 gallons of basket capacity, the First Alert SC121DF cross cut paper shredder can hold a large amount of waste and is removable for easy disposal. The basket window makes it easy to see when the basket is full and ready to be emptied. Locking casters allow the shredder to be easily rolled or locked down to keep it stationary. The shredder features a three-year warranty on its blades and a one-year warranty on the other parts. All First Alert shredders are tested by the UL nationally accredited laboratory.
